STUDIO POLICIES

ARRIVAL TIME

I ask that existing clients arrive 5 -10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. New clients please aim to arrive 10 -15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow for consultation forms and sign appropriate paperwork. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session booked. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time. Arriving more than 10 minutes late, will result in the appointment being placed on the “wait list” for the next time available to accommodate the service and pre-payment will be required for any future services.

CHANGES/CANCELLATION OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In an effort to be fair to all clients, 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel a booked appointment, except in cases of contagious illness as described below. Please understand that this is a business and scheduled time is reserved especially for you. When you forget about or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, clients on my waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they need, and revenue is lost. In the event that we do not receive the required notice for adjustments and/or cancellations the following fees will be applied to your credit card on file:

  • Failure to show up for your appointment i.e. "NO SHOW" will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service amount and pre-payment is required to schedule future appointments.

  • Less than 24 hours but more than 12 hours, will result in a 50% charge of the reserved service amount.

If you are a new client booked for the Free Express Facial and you cancel/reschedule 24 hours or less before your scheduled appointment time a $35 fee will be applied to your credit card, and you will waive the right to claim the new client promotional free service. Due to the alarming rate of no shows and late cancels Shore Esthetics has no choice, but to fully adhere to this cancellation agreement.

SICKNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY

If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. There is no penalty or time frame required in this case, for your safety and that of other clients. If you arrive to your appointment with any of the following contagious illnesses your treatment will be rescheduled: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chicken Pox, Shingles, Measles, Mumps, Meningitis, Hepatitis A, Conjunctivitis, Cold Sores, Rubella, Head Lice, Impetigo, Influenza, Meningococcal Disease, Polio, Ringworm of the body, feet or scalp, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Scabies, Sore Throat, Thrush, Whooping cough and the common cold.

 

MINORS/CHILDREN IN STUDIO

Unless you are a parent accompanying your teen to their appointment, children are not allowed in the studio. Due to the potentially hazardous chemical and expensive equipment in the studio, please make other arrangements for your children on appointment days. Shore Esthetics reserves the right to cancel your appointment and charge you for the booking - NO Exceptions! I do not have the staff to supervise children during your appointment. Shore Esthetics will not be held accountable for injury or accidents to, or caused by, unsupervised children.

PRODUCT PURCHASES/RETURNS

Returns are at the discretion of the Spa owner, and will take all information into account before accepting a return. In the event that the product isn’t working for you a exchange can be made.

STUDIO PROMOTIONS

Monthly specials or Promotions cannot be used or combined with any other offer, promotions or gift certificates.

REFERRALS

A successful business is not possible without my amazing clients and their friends. To show appreciation, we offer a 10% discount for anyone you refer to Shore Esthetics during their first treatment. After your referral receives their first PAID service, you will receive a 10% discount on your next purchases excluding gift certificates. This credit can only be redeemed for full priced services and products.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

I accept Cash & Credit Cards.\No checks. Prices are subject to applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change. Treatment times are approximate.  

 

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift Certificates are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash. All gift certificates must be mentioned prior to booking your appointment. Additionally, gift certificates must be presented at your appointment. Multiple gift certificates may not be combined towards a single service or product purchase. Gift Certificates can only be used on full priced services and are not applicable on monthly specials, which are already priced at a special rate. Dollar amount gift certificates and online vouchers do not include taxes and gratuity.
